A column bounce is a type of bounce juggling pattern where the balls move straight up and down in columns. Each time you throw a ball, you lift it up above another ball, and then let go of it and snatch the lower ball out of its way. Some column bounce patterns involve multiple bounces.

The number of columns in a column bounce pattern is equal to the number of balls used minus the number of hands used.
