Doug Sayers (born in 1988)[1] is an American juggler from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.[2] He started juggling when he was 8 years old,[2] and he first competed at the IJA and the WJF in 2005.[3][4]
Doug won the IJA Individuals Stage Competition in 2009,[5] and the WJF Overall Championship in 2012 and 2014.[4] He is the only person who has won all four solo Numbers competitions (balls, rings, clubs, and bounce juggling) at the IJA in the same year.[3]
Doug has held passing world record since 2007.[6] His current records are:
- 12 ball passing: 561 passes caught with Noah Schmeissner in 2023 (video)
- 14 ball passing: 252 passes caught with Noah Schmeissner in 2023 (video)
- 15 ball passing: 116 passes caught with Noah Schmeissner in 2024 (video)
- 16 ball passing: 66 passes caught with Tom Whitfield in 2023 (video)
- 17 ball passing: 41 passes caught with Tom Whitfield in 2023 (video)
